Fiber art, at least the fiber art I do, is deeply dependent on the idea of 'the grid'. Grids are artificial yet the fiber used is created from all natural material. The same goes for the crop circles -- these ideas come full circle as they are rooted in nature, made artificial, and brought back to nature again.
